Hello fellow Mainers,

In this blog you will be introduced to the farmers, cooks, artists, bakers, mushroom hunters, and picklers that you will come across at your local European Farmers’ Market every Saturday year-round from 9 am to 12:30 pm at 117 Buck St.

This market has everything to offer from ethnic foods such as Greek and Mexican to farm-fresh produce as well as eggs, milk, and cheese. Further more there are baked goods such as donuts and pies (both meat and fruit) that any sweet tooth will adore. There is also the occasional artist and let’s not forget the goat cheese and meat vendor located in the back.

You are guaranteed to find something you’ll love!

We plan to visit the vendor’s different operations and take pictures or videos, which will be placed under Farm and Kitchen Visits. Under the Vendors tab is a list of the Vendors that can be found at the market as well as contact information if available and what each vendor sells.

Vendors often switch off so all vendors will not always be there every week. We will be featuring different vendors in my posts and would be very welcome to feedback or ideas on what you want to see in this blog. Feel free to leave a comment or feedback.

We also plan to speak about Upcoming Events that may relate to specific vendors or markets overall. If you have any events that apply let me know and we will be sure to mention them.

We look forward to hearing from you and look forward to updating you on the market and vendors.
