Good morning market-goers,
We will start posting interviews we have with the vendors, and would like your input on any questions you’d like to see asked of the vendors. Whether the question is specific to one vendor or an overall question, we will gladly pose it for you.
We will also be posting a podcast shortly and would like to know if there is anything specific you would like to see mentioned, or anything you’d like answered. Thus far, it is planned to be rather similar to the market walkthrough post and will quickly cover the vendors and what they sell for those of you who would rather hear it than read it.
Any input would be great since after all, this podcast is for you.
On a separate note, Thanksgiving is coming right up and this Saturday will be the last market before Thanksgiving so be sure to come and get all the fresh, local goods to make your Thanksgiving dinner a hit.
In the spirit of Thanksgiving, here is a recipe we hope you will enjoy. We encourage you to post and share your own special Thanksgiving recipes here as well, and if we get enough we may post them all so be sure to include your name if you would like credit.
Baked Sweet Potatoes:
Combine: 4 large sweet potatoes (cut up and boiled), 1/4 cup butter (melted), 1 teaspoon vanilla extract, 1/2 cup milk
Add: 2 beaten eggs
Combine for crumble top: 1/2 cup brown sugar, 1 cup chopped walnuts, 1/3 cup flour, and 3 tablespoons butter(soft)
Bake this at 400 degrees Fahrenheit for 30 to 45 minutes in a 9 x 13 pan
