A Review of the Market

Rebecca Baer of Artful Living calls the European Farmer’s Market a “delightful experience with a vast array of prepared ethnic foods along with fresh produce, meats and cheeses at your fingertips.”

In her review, Rebecca walks through the market stopping at various stands and explains her experience and thoughts on the market as a whole.

This review was written a couple of years ago, thus Bubbie’s Homemade Soups and Jalapeno Jellies is no longer a vendor at the market.

Maine Organic Fair a Success

Hey Readers,

The New York Times recognized the Common Ground Country Fair in an enthusiastic review. According to the review:

“The 36th Common Ground Country Fair organized by the Maine Organic Farmers and Gardeners Association drew 59,000 people this year. And it netted $300,000 in ticket sales and booth fees, which pays for training programs for new farmers, workshops and operating expenses”

and “the Common Ground Fair marks the season as clearly as the fall equinox”

I would call that some very positive feedback.
